Resetting iMessage After Installing an eSIM
If iMessage isn’t working properly after setting up your eSIM, resetting it can help:
1. Go to Settings.
2. Tap Messages.
3. Toggle OFF iMessage.
4. Toggle ON iMessage again.
5. Tap Send & Receive.
6. Uncheck your phone number and ensure your email address is selected.
By using your email to register iMessage, you can send and receive messages over data-only eSIM connections without requiring a phone number.
Switching Back to Your Primary SIM
If you no longer need your encryptSIM and want to switch back to your primary SIM, follow these steps:
1. Go to Settings.
2. Tap Messages.
3. Tap Send & Receive.
4. Check your phone number again.
Your iMessage will now default to your primary SIM.
