Auto-renewals will provide a hassle-free way to maintain connectivity without manually purchasing top-ups. Here’s how it will function:
• When enabled, your current eSIM package will renew automatically when your remaining data drops to 10%.
• A new package with the same data amount and validity period will be applied once your data runs out.
• Renewals will continue until you manually turn them off or your payment method fails.
Checking If Your eSIM Supports Renewals
Not all encryptSIM packages will include auto-renewals. Once this feature is available, you’ll be able to check if your eSIM supports it by:
1. Going to My eSIMs and selecting the relevant eSIM.
2. Navigating to Package Details.
3. Looking for the option to enable Auto-Renewals.
If auto-renewals are not supported for your package, you will need to purchase a manual top-up to continue using data.
How to Enable or Disable Auto-Renewals
When this feature launches, you will be able to turn on auto-renewals by:
1. Going to My eSIMs and selecting your active package.
2. Scrolling to the Auto-Renewal section.
3. Toggling the setting to ON.
To turn off auto-renewals, you will simply toggle the setting OFF at any time.
What If My Validity Period Expires?
If your validity period expires before you’ve used enough data to trigger a renewal, your package will not renew. Auto-renewals will be turned off automatically in this case.
Will Auto-Renewals Apply to Voice & Text Packages?
If your eSIM package includes calls and texts, auto-renewals will only activate if you have used enough data to trigger a renewal. Each renewal will also include the same voice and text allowances.
How Can I Pay for Renewals?
• A saved credit or debit card will be required for auto-renewals.
• Crypto payments and PayPal will not initially be supported for renewals.
• If your saved card expires, we will notify you to update your payment details.
• If a renewal payment fails, your package will not renew, and you will not be charged.
