Before you begin, make sure your Samsung Galaxy device supports eSIM functionality and is carrier-unlocked. Not all Galaxy models are eSIM-compatible, so it’s always a good idea to confirm with your manufacturer or carrier.
Once confirmed, you can install your encryptSIM directly onto your device with a stable internet connection—no QR code or manual input required.
I. Installation
Log into your encryptSIM account and access your eSIM details. From there, select the Direct installation method. Follow these steps:
Go to Settings
Tap Connections
Tap SIM Manager
Tap Add eSIM
Select Add using activation code
Tap Install eSIM when prompted
Tap Allow and wait for installation to complete
After a few moments, you’ll receive confirmation that the eSIM is installed. If you don’t see it immediately, try restarting your device.
II. Accessing Data
Once installed, activate the eSIM and adjust your mobile settings:
Go to Settings > Connections > SIM Manager
Under Mobile Data, select your eSIM
Return to Connections > Mobile Networks
Toggle Data Roaming ON if required for your plan
III. Update APN (If Required)
Most encryptSIM eSIMs will auto-configure APN settings. If manual input is required, you’ll find the APN in your installation details.
Go to Settings > Connections > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names
Tap Add
Enter wbdata for APN and Webbing for Name (unless otherwise specified)
Leave all other fields blank
Tap the three-dot menu and select Save
Ensure the new APN is selected
Your eSIM should now be active and ready to connect to a secure, encrypted network. If you have any issues, our support team is here to help 24/7.
