Not all Samsung Galaxy models are eSIM-compatible, so you’ll want to confirm that your device supports eSIMs and is network-unlocked before proceeding. If you’re unsure, refer to your manufacturer’s documentation or reach out to your carrier.
Once confirmed, installing your encryptSIM is straightforward. No app is required—just log in to your account through any browser and access your eSIM details.
Step 1: Get Ready to Install
Log in to your encryptSIM account, head to My eSIMs, select the eSIM you want to install, tap Details, then Install eSIM / Access Data. Choose your preferred installation method—QR code or manual. If using a QR code, open it on a separate device or print it for scanning.
Step 2: QR Code Installation
Go to Settings > Connections > SIM Manager > Add eSIM. Tap “Scan QR code from service provider” and scan the QR code from your encryptSIM account. Tap Add. Once installed, go back to Settings > Mobile Data and select the new eSIM as your data line.
Step 3: Manual Installation
If you can’t scan a QR code, you can install manually. Go to Settings > Connections > SIM Manager > Add eSIM. Tap “Enter activation code,” then paste the activation details from your encryptSIM page. Tap Connect, then Add. Once installed, return to Settings > Mobile Data and select your eSIM.
Your eSIM is now installed and ready to connect. If you run into any issues, our support team is standing by.
