Before getting started, make sure you meet the following requirements to ensure a smooth installation process:

• Your device is eSIM compatible and network unlocked (See: “What devices support eSIM?” and “How do I check if my iOS device supports eSIM?”).

• You have a stable internet connection, preferably WiFi. A reliable connection is required to download and activate your eSIM properly.

• You have your eSIM details ready, which you can find in your encryptSIM account.

There are three ways to install an eSIM on iOS:

1. Direct Installation – Not available for encryptSIM.

2. QR Code Installation – Scan the QR code provided in your encryptSIM account.

3. Manual Installation – Enter the eSIM details manually.

This guide will walk you through QR Code and Manual installation methods.

Step 1: Prepare for Installation

1. Log in to your encryptSIM account.

2. Go to My eSIMs and select the eSIM you want to install.

3. Tap Details > Install eSIM / Access Data.

4. If using Manual Installation, tap the Manual tab at the top and take note of the SM-DP+ Address & Activation Code.

Step 2: Install Your eSIM

Option 1: QR Code Installation

1. Go to Settings > Cellular (or Mobile Data).

2. Tap Add Cellular Plan (or Add Mobile Data Plan).

3. Scan the QR code provided in your encryptSIM account.

4. If prompted, enter the 4-digit confirmation code (if required).

5. Label your eSIM (e.g., “encryptSIM” or “Private Data”).

6. When asked about Default Line, choose your eSIM for cellular data only.

7. Your eSIM should now be listed under Cellular Data / Mobile Data Plans.

Option 2: Manual Installation

1. Go to Settings > Cellular (or Mobile Data).

2. Tap Add Cellular Plan (or Add Mobile Data Plan).

3. Select Enter Details Manually and input:

• SM-DP+ Address (from your encryptSIM account).

• Activation Code (from your encryptSIM account).

• Confirmation Code (if applicable).

4. Label your eSIM (e.g., “encryptSIM” or “Private Data”).

5. When asked about Default Line, choose your eSIM for cellular data only.

6. Your eSIM should now be listed under Cellular Data / Mobile Data Plans.

Step 3: Set Up Your eSIM for Internet Access

1. Go to Settings > Cellular (or Mobile Data).

2. Tap your newly installed eSIM.

3. Toggle Turn On This Line and enable Data Roaming.

4. Tap Cellular Data Network (or Mobile Data Network) and enter the APN settings:

• APN: wbdata

• Username: Webbing

• Leave all other fields blank.

5. Go back to Settings > Cellular (or Mobile Data).

6. Select your eSIM for Cellular Data / Mobile Data.

7. Turn off “Allow Cellular Data Switching” to prevent accidental usage on another SIM.

8. Manually select the supported network if necessary.
