How to Update Your Currency

Since encryptSIM operates as a web portal only, you can update your currency directly from your account settings on our website:

1. Go to your Profile.

2. Find the Currency section—your currently selected currency will be displayed (e.g., “Currency: United States Dollar (USD) $”).

3. Click the currency field and browse the list or use the search bar to find your preferred currency.

4. Select your desired currency and confirm the update.

Once updated, all prices will display in your chosen currency.

Can I Change My Currency During Checkout?

You cannot change your currency while making a purchase. If you need to update your currency, you must return to Profile > Currency before proceeding to checkout. However, you can always select crypto as a payment method at checkout without adjusting your currency settings.

How Does This Affect My Transaction History?

Your transaction history will remain in the currency used at the time of purchase. Previous orders will not be converted retroactively.

For example, if you initially made purchases in USD and later switch to EUR, your past transactions will still be displayed in USD, while new purchases will be listed in EUR.

Does Updating My Currency Affect My $ESIM Token Balance?

No, your $ESIM token balance remains unchanged, as it exists on the blockchain independently of your encryptSIM account. If you use $ESIM to pay for data, transactions will be recorded on-chain, maintaining full transparency and privacy.
