Troubleshooting: Unable to Scan QR Code for eSIM Installation

If you’re unable to scan the QR code, you can manually install your eSIM by entering the installation details.

For iOS Devices

If you’re installing the eSIM on the same device, you can use the Direct method. Otherwise, follow these steps for Manual Installation:

1. Open the My eSIMs tab on your account (website or portal) to retrieve your Manual Installation details.

2. Go to Settings > Cellular/Mobile.

3. Tap Add Cellular/Mobile Plan.

4. Select Enter Details Manually and enter:

SM-DP+ Address

Activation Code

Confirmation Code (if available)

5. Turn on your eSIM under Cellular/Mobile Plan.

6. Select your eSIM for Cellular/Mobile Data.

7. Enable Data Roaming. (To avoid roaming charges from your primary carrier, disable your primary SIM when traveling.)

8. If required, set up an APN (Access Point Name). You can find the APN details in your eSIM installation details.

For Android Devices

1. Open the My eSIMs tab on your account (website or portal) to find your Manual Installation details.

2. Go to Settings > Network & Internet.

3. Tap Add Mobile Network.

4. When prompted with “Don’t have a SIM card?”, tap Next.

5. Select Enter Code Manually and enter:

SM-DP+ Address (available in your eSIM installation details).

6. Turn on your eSIM under Mobile Network.

7. Enable Mobile Data and Data Roaming. (Disable your primary SIM if you want to avoid roaming charges from your carrier.)

8. If required, set up an APN (Access Point Name). You can find the APN details in your eSIM installation details.
