encryptSIM eSIMs offer flexibility and longevity based on their top-up options and coverage areas. In some cases, you can continue using the same eSIM without reinstalling, while other times, you may need a new eSIM.
When You Can Use the Same eSIM:
✅ Top-Up Packages Are Available – If your encryptSIM eSIM supports top-ups, you can continue using it by purchasing additional data.
✅ The eSIM Is Still Installed – As long as you haven’t deleted the eSIM from your device, it remains ready for use. If you don’t need it for a while, simply toggle it OFF under your device’s settings instead of removing it.
✅ The eSIM Supports Your Travel Destination – Some eSIMs are limited to specific countries or regions. If your eSIM’s coverage includes your next destination, you can keep using it.
💡 Tip: You can check if your eSIM supports top-ups by going to My eSIMs > Top-Up. If available, you can extend your plan with a new data package.
When You Can’t Use the Same eSIM:
❌ No Top-Up Options Available – If your eSIM does not support top-ups, it is designed for one-time use. Once the data expires, the eSIM is no longer usable.
❌ The eSIM Doesn’t Cover Your Destination – If you are traveling to a country not covered by your current eSIM, you will need a new eSIM for that region.
Understanding eSIM Coverage Types:
📍 Local eSIMs – Work only in one specific country.
🌍 Regional eSIMs – Cover multiple countries within a region.
🚀 Global eSIMs – Offer worldwide connectivity across multiple regions.
