Most devices allow you to store multiple eSIM profiles and switch between them as needed. By default, your device assigns a label when you install an eSIM, but you can rename it anytime in your settings.
We recommend choosing a clear, recognizable name (e.g., encryptSIM Travel or Japan eSIM) to make switching easier.
1. Go to Settings.
2. Tap Cellular or Mobile.
3. Under SIMs, select the eSIM you want to rename.
4. Tap Cellular or Mobile Plan Label.
5. Edit the name in the Custom Label field.
1. Go to Settings.
2. Tap Connections.
3. Tap SIM Card Manager.
4. Select the eSIM profile you want to rename.
5. Enter a new name and tap Done to save it.
1. Go to Settings.
2. Tap Network & Internet.
3. Tap SIMs and choose the eSIM you want to rename.
4. Tap the pencil icon.
5. Enter a new name (you can also change the label color).
6. Tap Save to confirm.
You can rename an eSIM as many times as you like. If you have any questions, contact our support team—we’re happy to help!
