If you’ve installed an encryptSIM eSIM and noticed that your device displays another provider’s name—such as Airalo, Webbing, T-Mobile, or Verizon—don’t worry. Your eSIM is functioning as expected, and you are still connected to encryptSIM’s private, unrestricted global network.
encryptSIM is built on the Webbing eSIM platform and partners with industry-leading eSIM provider Airalo for distribution. As encryptSIM is a global solution, the network name displayed on your device will vary based on the local access key partner in the region where you are connected.
Since encryptSIM uses multiple carrier agreements to provide secure, borderless connectivity, your device may display the name of a regional partner or network rather than “encryptSIM.” This does not impact your data privacy, security, or speed—encryptSIM still ensures a fully private, unlogged connection regardless of the network name shown.
To avoid confusion, we recommend renaming your eSIM to “encryptSIM” on your device. Here’s how:
1. Open Settings.
2. Tap Cellular or Mobile Data.
3. Under SIMs, select your eSIM.
4. Tap Cellular Plan Label.
5. Enter encryptSIM as the new label.
6. Tap Done to save your changes.
1. Open Settings.
2. Tap Network & Internet or Connections.
3. Tap SIMs or SIM Card Manager.
4. Select the eSIM you want to rename.
5. Tap the Edit or Rename option.
6. Enter encryptSIM as the new label.
7. Tap Save.
Once renamed, your device will display “encryptSIM” instead of the default carrier name.
If you have any concerns about your network name or need further assistance, our support team is here to help.
